Job summary

Global Medical Response's Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will operate with a team of medical professionals to move patients safely, adhering to FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.

The role requires a FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, substantial flight hours, and the ability to work 7/7 on a schedule with housing provided.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours are required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours are required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours are required.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours are required.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in manuals, including FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
