Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. You will work with a medical team to move patients between locations, ensuring aircraft readiness, compliance with FARs and company procedures, and maintaining accurate logbooks.

The role requires current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical Certificate, and substantial flight hours, including turbine exposure.

Qualifications

  • Valid rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
  • Instrument rating and medical certificate must be current.
  • Minimum flight hours and turbine experience as listed.

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients safely with a medical team to destinations.
  • Maintain aircraft readiness and comply with FAR and company rules.
  • Keep accurate regulatory documentation and records.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
  • MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
  • Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
  • Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
  • 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
  • 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
  • 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

  • B206 Aircraft Experience
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
