Global Medical Response’s Air Evac Lifeteam unit is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. Join a team dedicated to safe patient movement and aviation excellence, with on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule designed for reliability.

Required qualifications include a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, Helicopter Instrument Rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate, plus substantial flight hours and PIC time.

Qualificações

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Instrument rating for helicopters required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hour requirements apply (see job listing).
• High school diploma or higher preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with a medical team to transport patients safely to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and adherence to FARs and Air Evac Lifeteam procedures, including aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot/team per change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $97,634 - $107,398 including 10% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
