Job summary

Global Medical Response's Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to deliver critical medical air transport. You will work with a team of medical professionals to safely move patients between locations and facilities, while meeting rigorous safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires extensive rotorcraft flight hours, instrument rating, and current FAA medical certification. We offer competitive pay, a generous sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, and on-duty housing with a 7/7

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate and helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate and medical readiness.
• Minimum flight time: 2,000 total hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 PIC hours; 500 turbine hours.
• Night flying: 100 hours unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team between locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and effective communication with dispatch and crews.
• Participate in shift changes and follow change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
