Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam, part of Global Medical Response, is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport. The role requires current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and thousands of flight hours.

A $15K sign-on bonus and retention incentives are offered, plus housing and a 7/7 schedule. You will work with a team of medical professionals to safely transport patients, maintain flight readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours and 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient transport with medical team on helicopter flights.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and logs accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
• Record shift changes and update change boards.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Salary range $106,511 - $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
