Job summary

Gibbs & Cox, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, in Dahlgren, VA, seeks a full-time AEGIS Computer Network Subject Matter Expert and Tactical and Technical Trainer to lead combat systems training and readiness.

You will develop and deliver programs for AEGIS platforms and train Sailors in tactical and operational use, review system capabilities, and integrate doctrine to optimize ship combat systems in dynamic scenarios.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of US Navy surface warfare combat systems experience with carriers, DDGs, CGs, LCS, large decks or equivalents.
• Experience as an Aegis Computer Network Technician (ACNT).
• Naval Enlisted Classification Code (NEC) – V00C, V69A or V37A is preferred.
• Qualified as a Combat Systems Officer of the Watch (CSOOW).
• U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical correspondence and document reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and conduct combat systems and weapon system training programs for personnel assigned to AEGIS Platforms.
• Serve as an AEGIS Computer Network SME and Instructor for training Sailors in tactical and operational use of the AEGIS system.
