ASRC Federal Mission Solutions in Moorestown, NJ is seeking skilled Software Engineers to support the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapons System. You will work in an agile team, delivering real-time software in Java, C++, or Python while pursuing a DoD Secret clearance for eligibility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–8 years of related experience, with exposure to OO design, UML, and Unix-like environments. A sign-on bonus of $3k is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance is required.
• 2–8 years of real-time mission-critical development, maintenance, or support in open/layered architecture environments.
• Experience with OO design/development and Design Patterns for software insulation.

Responsibilities

• Perform subsystem definition, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Participate in software requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews.
• Research problems and develop solutions.
