Future Technologies Inc. in Virginia’s King George County seeks a skilled professional to support U.S. Navy operations at ATRC, focusing on Aegis Combat System maintenance and UNIX/Linux control of COTS processors.

The role requires 5 years of experience with Aegis and a Secret security clearance, plus the ability to engage with interdisciplinary teams handling tactical interfaces and field maintenance at Dahlgren, VA.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 5 years’ experience and knowledge of the Aegis Combat Weapons system.
• All Aegis Combat Systems ratings will be considered; preferred disciplines include Aegis Display system, Aegis Computer and Peripheral systems, Aegis Computer Network Technician, SPY 1 radar, or Fire Control System.
• Candidate must have knowledge of performing corrective and preventive actions on the Aegis Combat System.
• Candidate must have a working knowledge of the various tactical interfaces required to support Aegis operations.
• Candidate must be able to work with other teammates supporting tactical operations and maintenance at ATRC, Dahlgren VA.
• Active Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform basic UNIX and LINUX commands to control the operations of COTS processors and related hardware devices.
• Support on staff U.S. Navy military maintenance personnel
• Support tactical operations and maintenance at the ATRC
