Job summary

ATCS is seeking a driven Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in a role that partners with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to attract, engage, and hire top talent.

The position supports a flexible hybrid work environment and is ideally based in Herndon, VA, with options for other ATCS offices. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting on recruitment metrics to optimize hiring processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; applicable experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of sourcing experience in a corporate or staffing firm environment; engineering/technical recruitment preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with hiring teams and candidates.
• Previous ATS experience (ClearCompany) is a plus.
• Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to qualified candidates through diverse channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networks).
• Partner with teams to understand needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess minimum qualifications.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate prep.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Provide updates to hiring managers on candidate progress and qualifications.
• Track recruitment metrics and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Maintain detailed records and reports on candidate progress and hiring statistics.
• Suggest process improvements and innovative solutions.

ATCS is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. In partnership with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, this individual will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across the organization. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment activities, build strong candidate pipelines, and serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

This position is ideally based in one of our ATCS office locations (Herndon, VA; Baltimore, MD; Glen Allen, VA; Camp Hill, PA; or another ATCS office) and is supported by a flexible hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to qualified candidates through diverse channels, including LinkedIn, professional networks, various job boards, etc.
• Partner with various team members to understand specific needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies for each role.
• Conduct initial phone screen to determine if applicant meets the minimum qualifications of the position.
• Respond to interview requests and schedule candidate for earliest possible time after appropriately prepping them for the discussion.
• Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, keeping them informed and engaged.
• Provide accurate and timely information to hiring managers regarding candidate qualifications and progress.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing sourcing strategies.
• Maintain detailed records and reports on candidate progress and hiring statistics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process by providing feedback and suggesting innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (Organizational Development, Communications, Psychology, etc.); Applicable professional experience will also be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of sourcing experience in a corporate or staffing firm environment; Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, architectural or technical roles highly preferred.
• Ability to establish positive interpersonal relationships with ATCS hiring teams, as well as prospective candidates.
• Previous ATS system experience a huge plus (specifically ClearCompany)
• Detail oriented with the ability to successfully multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary. In addition to compensation, ATCS offers outstanding, employee-focused benefits for you and your family.
