Job summary

US Eye seeks a full‑time Ophthalmic Technician to join our surgical practice. You will develop strong connections with patients, provide warmth and empathy, and work as part of a team to support physicians with exams and testing.

Candidate should have skills in scribing, patient work‑up, vision testing, refracting, medical terminology, and OCT testing. Travel to other locations is required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment with strong customer service.
• Previous experience in the medical field (preferred).
• High school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures.
• Perform patient work-up and document medical history.
• Conduct vision testing, refracting and OCT testing.
• Prepare testing rooms and maintain equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.

Job Summary:

The right candidate will possess skills of an Ophthalmic Technician and will have experience in scribing, patient work‑up, vision testing, refracting, medical terminology, assisting the physician in the room, visual field and OCT testing.

Education And Experience
