Job summary

US Eye is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our surgical practice in Kitty Hawk, NC. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to build strong connections with patients, and support the physician during examinations with warmth and empathy.

Responsibilities include scribing, patient work-up, vision testing, refracting, medical terminology usage, and performing visual field and OCT testing.

Qualifications

• Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus
• Previous experience within the medical field (preferred)
• High school or equivalent education

The right candidate will possess skills of an Ophthalmic Technician and will have experience in scribing, patient work-up, vision testing, refracting, medical terminology, assisting the physician in the room, visual field and OCT testing.

Education and Experience:

• Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus
• Previous experience within the medical field (preferred)
