YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed. You motivate, train, and celebrate associates and have a passion for achieving sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales with passion: As a key LOD, you excel at increasing sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through an outstanding in-store experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to meet KPI targets.
• Lead people: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values. You serve as a role model and hold associates accountable for delivering AEO's service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to ensure adequate staffing. You are committed to training and developing associates to provide exceptional service and uphold a Guest First culture.
• Promote teamwork: You set clear, achievable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing coaching. You motivate and engage the team by recognizing outstanding performance.
• Innovate operational and visual standards: You execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. You ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and meet Brand Standards.
• Maintain integrity: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, adhere to policies, and do the right thing at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You love AE and Aerie products!
• You have previous retail management experience.
• You are skilled at multitasking, detail-oriented, and good at prioritizing and time management.
• You possess business acumen.
• You have flexible availability to work when guests shop.
