Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years related work experience.
• Knowledge of ADA/504 and disability rights.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students with disabilities and staff.

• Proficiency with student database systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist intake coordinator with student questions about SAS, eligibility and documentation.
• Recommend accommodations to supervisor or designee.
• Provide training on disability management system to students, faculty and staff.
• Ensure timely provision of notes for students needing note-taking support.
• Communicate with faculty about note-taking needs and monitor ongoing process.
• Document student sessions in Degree Map, AIM, and Daisy.
• Refer students to ACC departments and outside agencies as appropriate.
• Assist with admissions, financial aid, and enrollment information as needed.
• Respond to emails and calls within 24 hours.
• May co-facilitate workshops on SAS processes and recruitment.
