Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university plus three years of related experience, or one year at Advocate 1 (SSP080) or equivalent.
  • Credentialed Advocate certification is preferred or required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

  • Victim Registration and Notifications: process registrations, investigate protests, issue notifications per statute.
  • Crisis Intervention: provide crisis intervention services and communication in urgent situations.
  • Liaison and Advocacy: act as a liaison between victims, agency staff, and external service providers.
  • Case Management: log, assess, and investigate correspondence, protests, and complaints to ensure compliance.
  • Outreach and Support: coordinate outreach initiatives and assist management as needed.

The Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate communication, advocacy, and support for victims navigating the post-conviction process.Ideal candidate will be able to maintain high efficient productivity in our fast-paced office environment.Key Responsibilities Victim Registration and Notifications: Process victim registrations, investigate protests, and issue notifications in accordance with statutory requirements.
