Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time, hourly Advocate to serve youth and families across Mercer County, New Jersey. The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and activity reimbursement with an $18.00 hourly rate.

Expect to initiate and implement direct advocacy services and collaborate with families to empower strong community supports. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of community resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Bi-Lingual/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of Position: Hourly, Part-Time position serving youth and families throughout Mercer County are available.

• Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings
• Primary Responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
