Job summary

AARP, Inc. seeks an Advocacy Technology Manager to lead its technology ecosystem for advocacy and constituent engagement.

You will partner with stakeholders across advocacy, campaigns, state offices and tech teams to plan and deliver scalable solutions that support grassroots engagement and public education initiatives. You will translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, manage platform enhancements, and ensure compliant, efficient operations across vendor and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, business administration, CS or data analytics.
5+ years managing business technology solutions, digital platforms, or CRM/constituent-engagement tech.
Experience translating business needs into tech roadmaps and product enhancements.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile or similar delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Lead technology projects and coordinate resources across advocacy, campaigns, state offices, and tech teams.
Govern and enhance advocacy and fundraising technology platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Translate business ideas into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for tech implementations.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adoption.
