Job summary

AARP, the nation’s largest nonprofit, seeks an Advocacy Technology Manager within the CSN group to lead technology roadmaps and stakeholder-aligned solutions for constituent engagement and fundraising.

You will translate business needs into scalable product implementations, manage cross-functional teams in Agile environments, and partner with vendors to ensure on-time delivery while aligning with organizational priorities and compliant governance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing business technology solutions.
Experience translating business needs into technology roadmaps, product enhancements, operational processes, and implementation plans.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners in Agile or similar delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Creates product strategies and roadmaps based on a deep understanding of the product technology stack and consumer needs.
Leads technical engagements utilizing an agile planning and development methodology.
Acts as a business liaison with technology and vendors and supports end users through coordinated communication, training and rollout activities.
Gathers an in-depth understanding of the enterprise's technical landscape, data management practices, workflows, and data availability across the enterprise.
Defines and translates strategic business ideas into technical product implementations with clear acceptance criteria.
Uses technology to advance AARP priorities and shares expertise to meet goals.
