Job summary

Bay Area Turning Point, Inc. is seeking an Advocacy Manager to lead the Advocacy Department and coordinate services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

The role requires hands-on supervision of two Hotline Specialists and two Victim Advocates, plus strong collaboration with community partners to improve outcomes. You will develop and implement program activities, monitor budgets, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in managing people and programs.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to advocacy department staff.
• Advocacy, crisis intervention, and safety planning for victims.
• Maintain client records per BATP policies.
• Develop collaboration with police, hospitals, landlords, and community partners.
• Oversee program budgets and housing packets.
• Coordinate trainings and outreach to prevent violence.
