Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a data-driven professional to work with the Head of MMLIS Advisor Loans and Transitions to develop practice assessment capabilities for wealth recruits and loan programs.

You will conduct detailed financial analyses, create decision-ready reports, and collaborate with Recruiting, Operations, and product teams to optimize advisor loan programs. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in a client-facing role within financial services (e.g., wealth management, financial planning, private banking, or investment solutions).
• 3+ years' experience working with Microsoft Excel.
• 1+ years of experience working cross-functionally with field partners, with a focus on relationship management.
• Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.
• Experience in client-facing analytics, strategy consulting, or financial analysis.
• Experience working with clients, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions with insights and measurement.
• Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations and/or dashboards.
• Ability to present simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Tableau and/or SAS software experience.
• Excel VBA experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop practice assessment capabilities for wealth recruits and practice acquisition candidates.
• Conduct detailed financial assessments, loan structures, break-even analyses, and sensitivity analyses.
• Coordinate assessment efforts across necessary home office partners.
• Analyze, report, and solve problems related to advisor loan programs administered through MMLIS.
• Produce detailed reports and summaries through the recruit deal generation process.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interpret loan profitability requirements into meaningful insights for rapid decision-making.
• Identify and develop key performance indicators for analysis.
• Profile, categorize, and analyze data; derive insights through visualizations for the governance team.
• Develop presentation materials and meeting collateral for Advisor Loan programs.
• Consult with and provide directional guidance to data users.
• Perform reporting and system testing for system enhancements within scheduled timeframes.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, Operations, product areas, and other MassMutual organizations.
