This advisor oversees the school's Esports program by organizing practices and competitions, mentoring student players, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and fostering a positive, inclusive gaming environment. The advisor coordinates team logistics, communicates with students, families, and school staff, manages equipment, and supports students in balancing academic responsibilities with competitive gaming while encouraging leadership, skill development, and personal growth.
The advisor must be willing to work 3:30-5:30 3-5 nights per week during the school year and follow all WHS and ISD 287 policies while working closely with the WHS Activities Director.
Position is not benefit eligible. Stipend range is $100 - $9,168.
