Job summary

Maple Heights High School, part of Maple Heights City Schools, seeks an Esports Advisor to launch and lead its new esports program. This role will recruit students, build program culture, and guide teams to become a recognized presence in the esports community.

The advisor will recruit, develop students' skills, and promote opportunities in gaming, technology, communication, and digital citizenship, while aligning with district policies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Ohio PAP or willingness to obtain.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of esports, competitive gaming strategies, and team dynamics.
• Ability to engage and support diverse learners.
• Current safety certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow the district's inaugural esports program.
• Recruit students and promote opportunities within the school.
• Coach competitive teams in approved titles and design practice plans.
• Promote responsible gaming and digital citizenship.
• Monitor student progress and ensure eligibility requirements.
