Job summary

Mount Prospect Academy in Pike, NH is hiring an Adventure Lead to guide outdoor education, mentor students, and coordinate recreation and overnight trips in a year-round program.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience working with children or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Teach outdoor living skills, environmental stewardship, and teamwork.

In this leadership role, you will mentor students, lead outdoor activities and overnight excursions, teach outdoor skills, and help young people build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment.

Position Summary

The Adventure Lead serves as a key member of our outdoor experiential learning team, leading activities that promote personal growth, teamwork, emotional regulation, and outdoor skill development. This role combines mentorship, recreation, education, and leadership in a dynamic outdoor setting.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or at least 60 college credits; OR
• Two years of full-time experience working with children; OR
• A combination of education and experience totaling two years.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to safely manage and support at-risk youth in outdoor environments.
