Job summary

Go Ape Shelby Farms in Memphis is seeking motivated Outdoor Adventure Guides to lead treetop and ground-based activities while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with strong communication and a passion for the outdoors; no prior experience required, but helpful. Training is provided, and roles offer growth into leadership positions with flexible schedules and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older at time of hire.
• No prior experience required, but customer service or teaching experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse groups.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
• Must complete Go Ape Adventure Guide and Internal First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-course safety briefings and demonstrate proper usage of safety equipment.
• Monitor participants on treetop obstacles and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Provide exceptional guest engagement and help guests enjoy zip lines, ground activities, and other courses.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and PPE for safety and functionality.
• Assist with course maintenance and cleanliness to uphold Go Ape standards.
