Job summary

Inspire Health Alliance in the United States is seeking instructors to lead 5th and 6th graders on science-based hikes and to supervise cabins during day and night. The role includes continuous 24-hour shifts, supervising groups for up to five days at a time across a nine-month season, with training provided and compensation of $145–$150 per day.

Qualifications

• Must obtain First Aid and CPR or BLS certificates.
• Ability to supervise 5th and 6th graders on hikes and cabin supervision, including 24-hour shifts.
• Able to stand long hours, carry 25 pounds, and hike 5 miles daily in heat, wind, rain, and snow.
• Comprehensive training will be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead 5th and 6th graders on hikes focused on scientific inquiry.
• Supervise a team of 10-18 students in cabins during day and night.
• Guide activities, team-building, and a full camp experience with games and movement.
• Work continuous and consecutive 24-hour shifts over up to 9 months.
