Mammoth Mountain is seeking seasonal staff to enhance guest experiences across mountain operations in Mammoth Lakes, California.

You will assist with tube park activities, carpet lift operations, rentals, and retail while delivering friendly service at food and beverage points; prior guest service is preferred and you must be able to work outdoors in varying weather. This role offers an hourly wage and seasonal benefits.

Hourly pay rate: $21.47 to $22.93

A Little About This Position

• This position is a dynamic, guest-facing role that supports operations across multiple mountain departments.
• Responsibilities include assisting with tube park activities, carpet lift operations, equipment handling, rentals, retail, mountain activity product sales, while also providing exceptional customer service at food and beverage stations and other guest service points.
• Team members will engage guests in a friendly, energetic manner, learn and perform a variety of tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs to ensure safe, smooth, and memorable experiences for all visitors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest service preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment or with the public.
• History of working within a team structure
• Proficient in ticketing (required) with working knowledge of tubing operations, boot fitting, and carpet lift operation; adaptable to learn other mountain activities quickly.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment can change rapidly with guest demand.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and push heavy groups of tubers
