Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assess patients in the designated service. The NP performs physical examinations, communicates with patients in person and by phone/electronically, and collaborates with others to assure smooth flow of patient care.

The NP reports to the Chief of the designated service and to the Department Manager, while coordinating care, reviewing records, and upholding safety and professional standards across the team.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a nurse practitioner.
• Two years (within the past three years) experience as a NP in emergency department or urgent care.
• CA NP furnishing number, NP certificate and RN license required; ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.

Aufgaben

• Performs physical examinations and assessments per department protocol.
• Consults with supervising physician or other clinicians as needed.
• Coordinates patient care and ensures continuity of care.
• Documents findings using computers/telecommunication modalities.
