Job summary

USC Advancement seeks an innovative transformation leader to serve as Assistant Vice President, Advancement Transformation. The role shapes the future of USC Advancement through enterprise-wide strategy and execution spanning people, data, technology, and operating models.

The AVP will guide transformation adoption, governance, and value realization while partnering with philanthropy, alumni engagement, communications, and IT to elevate donor experiences and fundraising effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ten years of relevant experience in higher education or enterprise transformation.
• Eight+ years in management and leading complex initiatives.
• Experience with data, visualization, KPIs to drive strategy.
• Strong executive program and project leadership with financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation strategy and roadmap across people, processes, data, tech, and operating models.
• Assess organizational structure and operating models for efficiency and scalability.
• Direct development of data, analytics, and AI capabilities for advancement.
• Establish governance, KPIs, and change-management to realize value.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across USC Advancement.
