Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is seeking a Seasonal Part Time Assistant / Paid Intern to support the Advancement Team with year-end giving, gala activities, and the 100th Anniversary Campaign.

The role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, event planning, database management, and campaign coordination while contributing to an organization that helps youth reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, courteous interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Canva and databases preferred.
• Discretion handling donor information and records.
• Willingness to take initiative and work independently.
• Interest in nonprofit fundraising or event planning preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising and donor engagement, including auction item support and donor follow-up.
• Photograph and describe donations for fundraising materials.
• Support year-end campaigns and donor acknowledgment processes.
• Coordinate holiday cards and update templates and procedures.
• Administrative support for gala and special events.
• Assist with grants, foundation opportunities, and campaign calendars.
• Enter and update donor, prospect, and event data in the database.
