Job summary

Notre Dame Prep of Sacred Heart University seeks an Assistant Director of Advancement to support donor engagement, annual and restricted giving campaigns, and special events. The role focuses on cultivating donors, maintaining accurate records, and expanding participation among parents, alumni, and the school community.

You will assist with prospect research, analytics, and communications while collaborating with a small advancement team to advance the school's mission in Catholic education.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in development, nonprofit work, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills; sharp attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with databases or CRM systems preferred.
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• Support annual and restricted giving campaigns and donor engagement.
• Assist in donor cultivation, stewardship, and communications.
• Maintain accurate donor records and advancement systems.
• Plan and execute fundraising drives and campaigns (mailings, digital, phonathons).
• Coordinate events such as Gala, Golf Tournament, Walk-a-thon and reunions.
• Prepare reports and analytics to inform decisions.
• Provide administrative support for advancement initiatives and grants.
