Notre Dame Academy is a vibrant regional Catholic school located in Minnetonka offering strong academic excellence in a faith centered community. Qualifications
As Development Director, you will:
- Plan, manage and implement an Annual Giving strategy that includes Annual Fund, major gifts and fundraising efforts. This includes but is not limited to prospect identification and research, cultivation, solicitation, gift processing, database management, acknowledgements, and stewardship.
- Educate and engage key volunteers (including but not limited to the Development Committee).
- Create and support a mission of philanthropy with the school and our supporting parishes.
- Work collaboratively with the Canonical Administrator, Principal, Business Administrator and Marketing and Enrollment Manager.
- Direct the major facets of the annual gala, including serving as the point of contact, cultivating major gifts, planning the live auction as well as leading volunteers and other foundational components of the event.
- Manage fundraising events throughout the school year.
- Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the mission and purpose of the school.
- Honor and support school initiatives, administrative decisions, the vision of our Archdiocese, and the Catholic Church.
- Build meaningful relationships with parishioners, donors, volunteers, alumni, foundations, and community leaders.
- Recruit, support, and collaborate with school volunteers.
- Maintain donor records, fundraising metrics, reports, and timely gift acknowledgments.
Qualifications
- Strong fundraising and gift solicitation background
- Demonstrate success in building authentic relationships with donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Passion for Catholic education
- Team oriented
- Model integrity, professionalism and sound judgement
- Experience in a nonprofit environment
- Desire to work within a team and ability to maintain a positive atmosphere with colleagues
- Complete Archdiocese mandatory background check and complete Virtus training
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position. While most work is performed during regular business hours, occasional evenings and weekends are required to attend school events, donor meetings, and fundraising activities.
Notre Dame Academy offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Salary: $65,000–$80,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
