Child Development Resources in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Director of Advancement to unite fundraising, donor relations, branding, and communications. You will lead a team, set measurable goals, and expand community engagement while advancing CDR's mission and financial sustainability.

The role requires strong relationship-building, strategic leadership, and a track record in securing major gifts, campaigns, and donor stewardship, with a commitment to organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of nonprofit fundraising experience with donor cultivation and campaigns.
• Experience in marketing and communications, grant writing, and events.
• Ability to manage budgets, records, and multiple priorities.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven strategic planning, analytical, and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies.
• Lead major gifts, annual appeals, planned giving, and campaigns.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward diverse donors and partners.
• Oversee branding, marketing, and communications across channels.
• Oversee donor management, reporting, and collaboration with leaders.
