Job summary

Illinois State University is seeking an Advancement Operations Data Assistant student worker to support administrative and operational tasks across University Advancement.

You will assist with updating donor information, running reports, and providing staff support, with potential involvement in Prospect Research and Strategy, Donor Database Management, Gift Processing, Foundation Accounting, and Fund Compliance.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain discretion with confidential donor and institutional information.
• Ability to use both written and verbal communication with staff, partners, and donors.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, partners, and donors.
• Eagerness to learn about University Advancement and fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative and operational tasks supporting operations and prospect research.
• Update donor information and run reports as needed.
• Provide administrative support for staff and other tasks as required.
• Support in any of the Prospect Research and Strategy, Donor Database Management, Gift Processing, Foundation Accounting, and Fund Compliance areas.
