Job summary

Rainbow Acres in Camp Verde, AZ is seeking an Advancement Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative, scheduling, and operational support to the Chief Advancement Officer and the broader Advancement team. This role plays a central part in keeping priorities, meetings, communications, calendars, and projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years in administrative, executive support, office coordination, project coordination, or similar experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and supporting multiple projects.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, and CRM/PM systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and work independently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours for events and Advancement responsibilities.
  • Alignment with a Christian, faith-based mission preferred.
  • Final candidates will submit to security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. They will provide direct executive support to the Chief Advancement Officer while also coordinating administrative needs across fundraising, development operations, marketing, admissions, outreach, and other Advancement initiatives. This position requires strong judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three (3) years of administrative, executive support, office coordination, project coordination, or similar professional experience; bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and supporting multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, and other administrative technology; experience with CRM or project management systems preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive organizational, personnel, donor, resident, and family information.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, identify solutions, and appropriately prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as organizational events, meetings, and Advancement responsibilities dictate.
  • Alignment with a Christian, faith based mission preferred
