Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking an Advanced Video Editor to join our Marketing team, editing short- and long-form videos for ads, tutorials, and product content across social and ecommerce channels.

Collaborate with content managers, writers, designers, and videographers to deliver on-brand content that supports performance goals. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, expert proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific formats

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film production, media, design, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven video editor with portfolio/showreel of digital ads, performance marketing content.
• Experience editing diverse sources: product footage, lifestyle, UGC, and promos.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro; strong After Effects skills.
• Experience with 2D motion graphics and animation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with content managers, writers, designers, and videographers to develop concepts and storyboards.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for ads, tutorials, and brand storytelling across channels.
• Create platform-native edits for Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, etc., optimizing format and length.
• Ensure branding consistency across all video content.
• Add graphics, subtitles, motion design, and animations to enhance clarity and engagement.
• Perform color correction and audio cleanup while following licensing and brand guidelines.
• Optimize video files, thumbnails, titles, and metadata for SEO/discoverability.
• Stay current with video trends and recommend new formats or tests.
• Organize and maintain video assets and project files for collaboration.
