Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional automotive repair experience; 3–4 years accepted with exceptional diagnostic ability.
• Strong diagnostic experience servicing domestic, Asian, and German vehicles.
• Advanced electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Experience utilizing Identifix or comparable automotive diagnostic software.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical/electrical failures.
• Owns professional automotive tools for advanced diagnostics/repairs.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders with service advisors to verify customer concerns.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related concerns across multiple manufacturers.
• Develop accurate repair recommendations, labor estimates, and parts requirements.
• Complete repairs involving engines, drivetrains, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, electrical and electronic systems.
• Install replacement components following manufacturer specs and industry best practices.
• Document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, inspection results, and quality verification clearly.
• Utilize diagnostic resources to support complex diagnostics.
• Perform quality control inspections prior to vehicle delivery.

The successful candidates will combine advanced diagnostic expertise with outstanding mechanical ability to identify root causes, complete quality repairs, and help maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and collaborate with service advisors to verify customer concerns.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related concerns across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
• Develop accurate repair recommendations, labor estimates, and parts requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional automotive repair experience (candidates with 3–4 years demonstrating exceptional diagnostic ability may also be considered).
• Strong diagnostic experience servicing domestic, Asian, and German vehicles.
• Advanced electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Experience utilizing Identifix or comparable automotive diagnostic software.
• Ability to accurately diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures.
• Personal ownership of professional automotive tools appropriate for advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience safely operating automotive shop equipment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• U.S. citizens only.
• No employment sponsorship available now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certifications.
• Advanced drivability and electrical troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience utilizing manufacturer scan tools and OEM diagnostic platforms.
• Hybrid or electric vehicle diagnostic experience.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians.
• Strong productivity, efficiency, and quality performance history.
• Stable employment history demonstrating increasing technical responsibility and long-term career growth.

HireNow Package

• Compensation: $20.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses ranging from $1,500–$7,000.
• Benefits: Overtime opportunities; paid time off; paid holidays; 401(k) with employer match; comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; ongoing technical development; and additional employer-sponsored benefits.
• Employment Type: Full-Time.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; Sunday closed.
• Work Location: 100% Onsite – La Habra, California. Applicants must currently reside within commuting distance of La Habra, California.
