Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an inspection or quality assurance role, preferably within a tool shop or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate PCDmis software, Cordax 1000, Cordax RS 150 DCC and Comparitor.
• Knowledge relating to micrometers, inspection tools, shop procedures, and tooling prints.
• Ability to exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability levels.
• Select/test at specified stages in production process and test products for various qualities.
• Record test data, applying statistical quality control approaches.
• Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from requirements.
• May set up and perform destructive/non-destructive tests on materials, parts, or products.
• May prepare graphs/charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis.
• Assist with building workholding fixtures when inspection capacity allows for flexibility.
• Champion and model Ahaus’ core values in daily actions and decision-making.
