Job summary

Tire Discounters is seeking an Advance Tire Technician in Cookeville, TN. You will replace, repair, and rotate tires on customer vehicles, with hands-on training to build skills for more advanced roles.

The role emphasizes safety and customer service, offering on-site work, weekends, and a pay range of $14–$16 per hour, with overtime and weekly commission opportunities to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team collaboration and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
• Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
• Effective pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
