Job summary
Tire Discounters, Inc. in Newport, TN is seeking an Advance Tire Technician to replace, repair, and rotate tires on customer vehicles. This hands-on role will train you toward more advanced positions within our family-owned shop.
You will operate tire machines, complete work orders, and help maintain a safe, organized shop while delivering outstanding customer service to customers and teammates. We offer competitive pay with overtime and weekly commissions, plus a path for career growth within
Qualifications
- Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team collaboration and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Available to work Saturdays.
- Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
- Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair tires.
- Operate balancers and tire machines.
- Complete work orders accurately.
- Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
- Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
- Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
