Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in TIG/GTAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, weld maps and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiar with ASME, AWS, or other applicable welding standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain orbital welding equipment and tooling.
• Perform precision GTAW (TIG) orbital welding on stainless steel, carbon steel and other materials.
• Prepare, fit, align, clean and inspect pipe and tube prior to welding.
• Follow welding procedures, weld maps, drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
