Job summary

RTX seeks a seasoned program management professional to support the Advanced Technology Advanced Surface Integrated Sensors (AISS) team. The role involves gate process oversight, cost control, and active participation in proposals and customer presentations.

Requirements include a STEM degree with significant engineering experience and strong communication skills. Onsite work at TEWKSBURY, MA or Portsmouth, RI is expected, with security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM required with 8+ years of engineering experience.
  • MS degree preferred in engineering/sciences/management or equivalent.
  • Experience in contract research & development, proposal development, technology evaluation, and program management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RLPM Gate Process and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports and budgets.
  • Oversee NBI budget control and program management reporting.
  • Coordinate SharePoint administration and documentation management.
  • Lead BOE writing and approval processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and capture efforts.
  • Develop and present proposals, statements of work, and cost estimates.
  • Lead or coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver costed projects.

As a member of the AT Advanced Surface Integrated Sensors (AISS) team, this position directly supports the Deputy Director of AT-AISS in the management of the AT business. This is an onsite role and can be located at one of the following Raytheon locations: Tewksbury, MA or Portsmouth, RI.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience in Contract Research & Development in areas such as new business capture, proposal development, technology evaluation, program management, technical contribution, or related contract development experience
Qualifications We Prefer
  • MS in Engineering, Sciences, or Management
  • Program Management Certification or knowledge of PM lifecycle
  • Experience with business tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project and Documentation management sites such as Sharepoint
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS)
  • Experience in obtaining Intellectual Property on emerging technologies
  • Experience leading Internal Research & Development project
  • An active secret clearance is desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task to achieve good results across multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively direct, influence, motivate and supervise team members
What We Offer

Not relocation eligible – Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This position requires a security clearance.

If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
