Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to repair and maintain vehicles, building customer loyalty through trust and reliable service. The role emphasizes collaboration with service advisors, parts staff, and customers while complying with dealer and factory standards.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability, while documenting work and continuing training in OEM standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on the repair order and maintain tools inventory as needed.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
