Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced enterprise IT professional to support GSC Portal developments, automate reporting, and maintain robust environments across test, COOP, and production. Qualifications

8+ years experience with BS/BA; 6+ years with MS/MA; 12 years with high school diploma.
US Citizenship required; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Primary work locations in San Antonio, TX and Falls Church, VA; remote work may be considered in special cases when approved by the customer.
Extensive enterprise-level website production experience with ColdFusion CFML, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, AWS Lambda, SQL, AWS DynamoDB, UiPath, or C#.
Current active IAT II certification (Security+) with CE certifications to meet DoW 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements.
Able to provide functional code/examples; strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide development support to GSC Portal web developments.
Build and maintain applications delivering metrics, performance measurement, and dashboards.
Maintain test, COOP, and production environments; update change logs.
Develop and maintain RPA processes using UiPath.
Coordinate with groups to support RMF certification and accreditation of GSC Portal tools.
Design, architect, develop, administer, install, and configure operating systems and software.
Write custom scripts and automated solutions; ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Maintain and support enterprise platforms across network, application, and database tiers.
Test site updates and obtain approvals before production promotion.

Job description

Provide development support to current GSC Portal web developments
Build and maintain applications delivering metrics, performance measurement, and alerts dashboards
Maintain test, COOP, and production environments
Maintain a thorough change log in MHSSHD for updates to GSC-supported websites
Test site updates and obtain appropriate approval before promoting changes into production
Apply industry best-practice system development techniques, system life cycle development methodology, and agile methodology
Work with departments to identify and capture new requirements
Analyze manual reporting activities and apply automation techniques to improve GSC and Service Center operational efficiencies
Coordinate with groups to provide details for RMF certification and accreditation of GSC Portal tools
Complete special projects and maintain application system documentation
Maintain and support enterprise platforms across network, application, and database tiers
Develop and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes using UiPath
Design, architect, develop, administer, install, and configure operating systems and software
Monitor systems for structural integrity and test software for errors and compatibility
Write custom scripts and automated solutions
Establish multi-platform software versions and write tests for code compatibility and stability

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; 12 years with a high school diploma
Must be a US Citizen
Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one
Primary work locations in San Antonio, TX, and Falls Church, VA; remote work may be considered in special cases when approved by the customer
6+ years enterprise-level website production experience using ColdFusion CFML, CSS, HTML, Java, JavaScript, AWS Lambda, SQL, AWS DynamoDB, UiPath, or C#
Current active IAT II certification (Security+) with related Computing Environment (CE) certification(s) to comply with DoW 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements
Able to provide functional examples of code and/or application design
Strong customer service and oral and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven project management skills
Strong development, documentation, and debugging skills
Knowledge of ColdFusion 2023, including administration, deployment, and maintenance of an application server using Microsoft IIS
Experience with AWS Cloud Services, specifically DynamoDB, Lambda, Connect, S3, and IAM Security
Database schema, data query building, and data analytics skills
Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server preferred
Object-oriented programming principles/design patterns a plus
Experience with GitLab or other versioning systems
Experience with Visual Studio Code
Ability to integrate/develop web application functionality via APIs to enterprise endpoints
ITIL4 certification and ServiceNow (MHSSHD) familiarity preferred
Experience working within Military Health environments preferred

Core Competencies

Demonstrates extensive experience in enterprise-level website production, particularly with ColdFusion, AWS Cloud Services, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath. Proficient in applying system development methodologies, including Agile, while ensuring compliance with security standards and effective project management.
