Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist II to join the operating room team in Columbia. This role requires CST certification, BLS, a High School diploma, and at least one year of CST experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program.
• At least one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current CST certification and BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment according to procedural guides.
• Perform routine room duties involved with direct patient care as part of the OR team.
• Assist providers and nurses with vaginal deliveries, instrument flow, and patient care needs.
• Restock instruments and supplies; engage in front desk customer service as needed.
