Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional patient care in our procedure setting, following established standards and practices. You will serve as a role model for RNs, Medical Assistants and LVNs and support the care team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care before, during and after procedures, and helping organize the procedure room in compliance with policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association

• Provide professional patient care in procedures following established standards.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for RNs, Medical Assistants and LVNs.

Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing procedures. Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Assists in overseeing patient care activities and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 yearsof RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of Ambulatory/hospital experience with references.
