Job summary

PacMed Clinics in Washington is seeking an Infusion Nurse with oncology expertise to provide infusion therapy and chemotherapy administration in an outpatient setting.

You will apply the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to respond to assessment findings, ensuring safe, compassionate care for each patient.

• Oncology nursing experience and infusion therapy expertise.

Job description

The outpatient Infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Nursing degree/diploma.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of Nursing.
• 2 years of Oncology experience.
• Chemotherapy administration experience.
