Your Impact

Our Solar Field Service Technicians (Photovoltaic Repair) specialize in inspecting and maintaining photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems, following safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, repairing solar panels, and mentoring team members. This role involves up to 100% travel.

Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot inverters, combiner boxes; repair string lines.
• Perform LOTO, IV Curve tracing, insulation testing, and IR scans.
• Operate and maintain solar power plants per standards.
• Maintain safety protocols and professionalism.
• Document work activities thoroughly.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain them.

Core Experience

• At least 2 years' experience on solar sites.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies, NFPA 70E/OSHA 10.
• Proficient with troubleshooting tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical/Work Environment

Compliance with OSHA standards required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work rotating shifts, and endure outdoor weather conditions.

This is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $23-$27/hour, based on experience and location. Overtime, bonuses, stipends, and benefits are included.
