Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II for an on-site shop. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and more under supervision. The role involves welding, fabrication, panel replacement, and maintaining records in RO using Karmak.

Requires HS diploma/GED with related field experience; ASE or DOT certifications preferred; must comply with safety policies and DOT regulations. Fridays? Weekly pay and benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

• DS job requires HS diploma/GED with 3 years related experience or 5 years related field experience.
• Experience with DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on trailers.
• Carry out light to heavy repairs and assisted diagnostics.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document work on RO.
