Job summary

Lonza Inc. is seeking an Advanced Setup Technician I for a 12-hour night shift at our Greenwood, MS facility.

The role focuses on order changes on hard capsule machines (HCMs) and related equipment, ensuring proper setup and returning equipment to production. You will inspect equipment for foreign capsules, perform adjustments, and document changes in SCADA and SharePoint, collaborating with Manufacturing to keep lines running.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with accommodations.
• Must pass color vision test.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• On-site presence at the plant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate order changes and dish washing for HCM, Unisor, and Unified equipment.
• Ensure order quantities are met before initiating changes using basic math.
• Break down, clean, and adjust HCMs to ensure proper equipment function.
• Inspect equipment for foreign capsules and conduct quality checks.
• Set up and troubleshoot iBox and perform formula changes at HCM.
• Enter order changes and setups in SCADA and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to return machines to production.
