Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Greenwood, SC seeks a Finishing Operator for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am). You will operate capsule imprinting machinery, rotate between printing and finishing, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, color vision, and strong teamwork. Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts and overtime is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet established color vision testing requirements for the role.
• Experience working effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Ability to exercise judgment and make independent decisions when required.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate capsule imprinting machines to produce finished pharmaceutical products.
• Rotate between printing and finishing areas to support production schedules.
• Perform finishing and weigh counter activities to meet quality requirements.
• Follow safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork standards at all times.
• Maintain reliable attendance and support shift and schedule requirements.
• Complete cleaning tasks in print booths and production areas as needed.
• Support continuous improvement by completing additional assigned tasks.
