Job summary

• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge (preferred).
• Technical school training in HVACR or electrical (preferred).
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment (preferred).
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• 4+ years of work experience (preferred).

Position

The Dedicated Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the continuation of maintenance and repair at the RaceTrac Travel Center and/or EDO stores they are designated. The role ensures the store’s operability and appearance at all times.

What You'll Do

• Resolve maintenance and service issues at the RaceTrac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7 and increase company profitability.
• Treat stained areas with chemical degreaser and perform daily pressure washes of store sections.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas.
• Maintain all trash on site during the shift.
• Ensure each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provide project support to cross‑functional departments on store‑related initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc maintenance requests communicated by store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as required.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
• Cross‑train with other ASTs in multiple trades.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job.
